The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in marketing, beginning August 2025.
The primary responsibility for this position is teaching. Teaching responsibilities will include social media marketing (at both the undergraduate and graduate level) and digital marketing, in addition to one of the following: marketing principles, consumer behavior, or marketing research. The teaching load for a Lecturer is typically five courses per semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid and/or online deliveries. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the position will also involve active engagement within the department, college, and/or university, including advising undergraduate students and contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in marketing or a related discipline from an AACSB accredited or regionally accredited institution, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in marketing or a related field. Candidates should have significant professional experience and expertise qualifying them to teach social media marketing and digital marketing, in addition to one of the following: marketing principles, international marketing, international business, or sales. Relevant professional experience, significant in duration and level of responsibility, must be current at the time of hire, and maintenance of professional qualification is required.
Evidence of collegiate teaching experience is preferred. Exemplary teachers who have experience using innovative and active learning approaches are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must have the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, the department, college, campus, community, and professional organizations.
