We are seeking a motivated People Development and Learning Specialist who is excited about building a training program from the ground up and is equally skilled in content creation and direct delivery. This role will lead the scope, design, planning, and execution of learning and development solutions aligned with NEOGOV’s organizational objectives and operational requirements. You will also conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA), ensuring that programs are tailored to meet business and employee needs. The successful candidate will thrive in creating and delivering both remote and in-person training programs, fostering continuous growth, and providing expert organizational development advice.
Program Leadership: Lead the scope, design, build, planning, delivery, evaluation, review, and maintenance of learning and organizational development programs that align with business goals and operational needs.
Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess training requirements for new and existing solutions, ensuring relevance and impact.
Content Development: Create engaging, high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, and other instructional resources.
Training Delivery: Facilitate highly engaging, participative training sessions for in-person and remote audiences, including large formal presentations.
Remote Training: Develop and deliver tailored remote training courses for distributed employees.
Specialist Guidance: Provide expert advice on organizational development, leadership, and learning opportunities to employees and business units.
Stay Current: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and innovations in learning and organizational development to drive future-ready solutions.
Proven experience in conducting Training Needs Analyses and delivering impactful development programs.
Skilled in building training programs from the ground up, including content creation and delivery.
Experience delivering remote and in-person training, including presentations to large, diverse audiences.
Strong facilitation, coordination, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools for e-learning development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines.
What You Have
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; certifications (e.g., CPLP) are a plus.
3-5 years of experience in training, organizational development, and leadership programs.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently with availability to work on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday.
