ROLE OVERVIEW
As a member of the NEOM USA senior leadership team, the incumbent will help develop and spearhead NEOM’s efforts in the USA to attract foreign direct investment, locate key strategic partners and assist NEOM Investment Fund (NIF) in sourcing and closing minority equity investments that bring new technologies or capabilities to NEOM. This is a senior level role with frequent interaction with NEOM Leadership including the NEOM CEO and CEO’s of the various business units.
REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY
- Become a valued partner to the Head of NEOM USA to design and implement a strategy to support the NEOM parent company in KSA while promoting a first class socially responsible brand for NEOM in the USA.
- Lead the negotiation and due diligence process for potential joint ventures, partnerships, equity investments or other strategic alliances. Role includes souring of transactions and working with the relevant NEOM Sectors/Departments in KSA to streamline the process and ensure a coordinated approach to each partner.
- Engage in senior-level discussions with internal NEOM stakeholders including the NEOM CEO to explore industries, technologies and potential partnerships with companies headquartered in the USA.
- Deliver proposals and presentations to outside potential partners or as part of NEOM’s internal approval process.
- Create and review valuation and other financial analyses in support of due diligence activities on behalf of NEOM to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with outside accountants, lawyers and investment banks to close transactions
- Assist in recruiting top analyst talent to NEOM USA.
- Leverage the candidate’s own network of business contracts to find opportunities with potential partners to NEOM sectors.
- Interfaces will include NEOM Regions, Sectors, Neom Investment Office (NIO), Neom Investment Fund (NIF), NEOM CEO and potentially the NEOM BOD.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Exceptional management and technical skills to lead transactions and manage projects with demonstrable track record of closing deals efficiently and effectively.
- Extensive experience with senior level stakeholders both one on one and in management presentations.
- Great negotiation skills to protect the best interests of NEOM.
- A network of contacts that can be leveraged to find partnership opportunities for NEOM.
- Leadership - able to manage the team when the Senior Managing Director is not in the office.
- Entrepreneurial – this is a great opportunity to build a world class organization from a blank piece of paper.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in investments i.e., via Private Equity, Corporate M&A and/or Investment Banking
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited education institution is a must
- CFA is preferred
