Type: Full-time/Part-time
Position earns tips which averages an extra $4-7/per hour, which means you can make anywhere between $16-$20/per hour!!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper presentation and timely delivery of orders to guests.
- Provide menu knowledge and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure special requests or dietary needs are met.
- Check orders to ensure accuracy and completeness before serving to guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including table setup and condiment replenishment.
- Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server or cashier in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive and professional demeanor, even under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Knowledge of food and beverages, including allergens and dietary restrictions.
- Flexibility in working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
