The Role

As a Medical Director, you will assume responsibility for understanding the scientific and clinical aspects of your assigned brands in depth. You will serve as a key strategic resource for both internal teams and clients, leveraging science in brand differentiation and communications. Collaborating with copywriters and medical writers, you will ensure scientific and clinical relevance throughout strategic and creative development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of assigned products, related medical areas, and competitors.
• Critically review content developed by agency team members to ensure consistency and continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and healthcare professionals to meet strategic objectives.
• Participate in proprietary workshops and monitor relevant literature to craft marketing implications.
• Establish rapport with clients and manage medically-related client interactions independently.
• Actively participate in new business pitch teams and contribute to the development of pitch materials.
• Develop communication platforms that serve as internal content roadmaps for brand communications.
• Mentor and supervise copywriters and medical writers, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of their work.
• Demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach in team meetings and discussions.

Salary

100,000 to $140,000 annually. The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
