About the Role
Neos is seeking a Jr Product Manager for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX. Looking for local candidate already residing in Austin as you will be required to work onsite.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Apps Team Lead to prioritize, document, and manage our Knack and Sharepoint solutions, and support other DTS teams as needed
- Proactively champion DTS Apps Suite products and initiatives, foster collaboration, and promote department-wide standardization of data and processes
- Work with end users to identify needs, define scope, and prioritize work from high-level projects to specific application features, datasets, and map requests
- Ensure requirements and user stories are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to identify potential problems and solutions
- Triage DTS service requests from the divisions in your portfolio
- Use an agile project management framework to organize their work
- Document project status and strategic recommendations to team members, end users, division stakeholders, and executive leadership via the DTS website and newsletter
Required Skills
- Experience using agile project management to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and iterative delivery
- 3 years of professional experience with software, digital services, or data products
- Experience with database solutions, no-code web applications and forms, and user-centered product development
- Ability to self-direct and self-manage among tight deadlines, prioritization conflicts, and resource constraints
- Commitment to robust project documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship management skills that include forming authentic and trustworthy connections with colleagues and stakeholders
