This role requires local candidates with 5 years of experience in Snowflake architecture, database design, API integration, cost optimization, and cloud data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and optimize Snowflake infrastructure for sustainability.
• Design, develop, and manage data models, pipelines, and integrations for structured and unstructured data.
• Build near real-time data pipelines for large datasets (e.g., GIS, geometric files).
• Leverage Python and related tools for machine learning and Snowflake integration.
• Develop cost optimization strategies and hybrid cloud solutions (e.g., Snowflake, AWS S3, RDS, Kinesis).
• Enable secure data sharing using APIs.
• Train staff and provide support for data science models and Snowflake usage.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years of experience with Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and migration.
• Proficiency in handling semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, XML) and Snowflake features (e.g., RBAC, zero-copy clone, time travel).
• Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS S3, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, etc.).
• Skilled in Python, PySpark, SnowSQL, and automation of monitoring processes.
