This position and the major required skills are Driveline / Powertrain and electric motor design.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design and Development:
- Experience designing wheel motors for off-highway vehicles.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed design specifications and drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements.
Testing and Validation:
- Conduct simulations and physical tests to validate motor performance.
- Analyze test data and make necessary design adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Technical Support:
- Strong background in gearing and bearing concepts.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wheel motor performance.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 6~8 Years. Previous experience in motor design, preferably in the off-highway vehicle industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of motor control systems and power electronics.
