Summary:
Oversee facility maintenance, compliance, safety and reporting of materials and chemicals within the site. Manage the facilities requirements necessary to comply with local, state and federal regulatory mandates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research, develop and recommend the latest strategies for factory floor utilization for space and effectiveness of operational flows within organization.
- Work with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to develop and direct opportunities that affect revenues and/or costs.
- Provide guidance and alternate methods of solving or preventing process/business or technical problems relating to equipment and building needs.
- Determine production floor space and capital equipment needs, obtain vendor quotes and develop capital proposals.
- Manage and maintain all necessary reporting required for local, state and federal agencies on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Environmental health and safety -- Develop and implement policies and procedures in safety, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering and/or hazardous material transportation.
- Support the efforts required to implement and maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) with the focus on continuous reduction in energy and waste elimination relative to environmental needs.
- Develop, implement and support ISO14001 Environmental Management Standards.
- Act as one of the site Environmental Management Representatives to support the development and implementation of ISO14001.
- Maintain Waste Water Treatment Operator Certification.
- Develop and track measurements for reducing equipment downtime.
- Support and follow all ISO standards related to OnCore’s various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security.
- Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Maintain quality system controls for factory & EMS
- Understanding of all EMS processes for printed circuit board manufacturing.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Experience/Education:
- BS in Engineering, Science, or Math.
- 10 years in electronics industry.
