Provide working support where needed in the stockroom daily. Provide direction to stockroom employees on daily
priorities. Provide answers and solutions for questions or issues incurred by stockroom employees.

- Provide daily direction on priorities to employees.
- Must be able to make informed decisions.
- Ability to learn and have functional knowledge of positions reporting to them.
- Suggest new processes to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Daily review and approvals of employees’ time, attendance and PTO requests.
- Responsible for employee’s individual metrics.
- Responsible for daily metrics.
- Ability to motivate, coach and provide opportunities for advancement to employees.
- Implement and conduct monthly check ins with employees.
- Must be able to determine when workloads exceed capacity; and suggest when OT is required.
- Responsible for participating in and preparing for year-end inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Must work hours that allow for a crossover between both shifts. Preferably 8-6.
- Provide feedback and data to Management.
- Be able to read, interpret and understand data in the MRP system.
- Perform MRP transactions at a higher level than standard employees.
- Be able to work under stress and deadlines.
- Must have the ability to adapt quickly to new situations and processes.
- Must be able to work overtime often and specifically at month end/year end.
- Must be able to coordinate and or/drive shipments to local carrier HUBS as needed.
- Conduct interviews, make recommendations on hiring.
- Communicate clearly and effectively. Both verbally and written.
- Provide details and data to Manager for employee reviews/promotions/disciplinary actions needed.
- Attend daily meetings.
- Update and review procedures regularly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
