JOB TITLE: HR Generalist
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial and Operating Officer
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW: Deliver human resource support within Nephrology Associate
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates all HR processes
- Acts as a liaison between employees and benefits providers such as 401K plan, insurance, etc.
- Manages recruitment and assists management team with identifying potential candidates.
- Coordinates all pre-employment screening, including background checks and drug screenings.
- Schedules all new employee onboarding, coordinating with benefit broker and IT department.
- Conducts new employee onboarding, to include ensuring all new hire paperwork is signed, collected, and scanned into the employee file; verifying all new hires through E-Verify; entering new hires into the employee benefit portal; inputting all new hires into the payroll system.
- Assists with benefits administration to include open enrollments, benefit enrollments and changes with carriers, benefit audits, assisting employees with benefit questions, and annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness,
- Processes all FMLA and other leave requests
- Works with payroll to ensure all new hires and terminations are properly processed in the payroll system
- Works with management team to address issues with employee satisfaction of employee performance
- Coordinates performance review process with management team, including termination, disciplinary action and merit increases
- Assists with Employee Handbook revisions
- Conducts all employee off-boarding, to include preparing separation notices, coordinating access deactivation with IT, and collecting all company property.
- Acts as a liaison between employees and other C-level executives.
- Sets the tone for communication.
- Establishes an emotional connection for employees, execs, and the organization as whole.
- Assist with administrative duties as needed.
- Coordinates recognition for employee tenure or achievements
- Local travel required on a regular basis.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Licensure/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
