Responsibilities:
- Collect and label blood samples according to established laboratory procedures
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of specimens to the laboratory for testing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during all procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort throughout the phlebotomy process
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- 2 years of experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and specimen collection requirements
