Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating the Supply Chain in support of production demand management. The qualified individual will forecast, execute, and track purchase orders for inbound raw materials and critical production components, provide expert advice on all Supply Chain and supplier contracting decisions related to forecasting, inventory valuation, and providing data analytics related to production bills of materials to optimize lowest possible cost for the highest possible quality and reliability of supply.

Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating the Supply Chain in support of production demand management. The qualified individual will forecast, execute, and track purchase orders for inbound raw materials and critical production components, provide expert advice on all Supply Chain and supplier contracting decisions related to forecasting, inventory valuation, and providing data analytics related to production bills of materials to optimize lowest possible cost for the highest possible quality and reliability of supply.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing inventory levels to keep production supplied with key items.
- Evaluate market indices and conduct Requests for Information/Quote/Proposal (RFX)
- Liaises with Sales, Production, QA, Procurement, Supplier Management and Warehousing to support ERP implementation and maintenance, define best inventory practices and meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Coordinates with operations, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Responsible to ensure stockrooms are accurately inventoried and fully stocked. Oversee all re-orders and ERP tracking of over 4000 different types of parts used on the production floor.
- Monitor monthly inventory audits to check for accuracy on critical parts.
- Inspect parts from receiving with packing list and update final delivery or partial delivery in Nephron Pharmaceutical internal inventory.
- Work closely with the A/P department of Nephron to reconcile and review any discrepancies in invoices.
- Responsible for assisting in credits and follow ups with vendors to resolve invoicing differences, as applicable.
- Inform suppliers of rejections and finalize settlements with respect to reimbursement and/or replacement of product
- Responsible for submitting monthly inventory quantities/levels to the Accounting department.
- Meets with vendors and or account representatives to discuss future plans and new products.
- Member of the Procurement staff. Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities, in support of Procurement, as evident or required.
- Responsible for operating under cGMPs and SOPs.
- Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Knowledge & Skills:

- 4 years of inventory / purchasing experience
- Regionally accredited B.S. Degree in Supply Chain / Business Administration, preferred but not required
- Specific expertise, skills and knowledge within supply chain gained through education and experience.
- This position requires bending, typing, lifting (up to 40 1bs.), standing, sitting and walking throughout the facility.
