Position Summary:
- Responsible for developing and implementing production demand management for inbound raw materials and critical production components, providing expert advice on all Supply Chain and supplier contracting decisions related to forecasting and inventory valuation, and providing data analytics related to production bills of materials to optimize lowest possible cost.
- Manages Production and Inventory Planning. Develops and monitors KPI related to inventory entitlement/turns and valuation.
- Liaises with Sales, Production, QA, Procurement, Supplier Management and Warehousing to support ERP implementation and maintenance, define best inventory practices and meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Member of the Procurement staff. Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities, in support of Procurement, Supplier Management, Logistics, or Warehousing as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Primary Accountabilities:
· An effective supply chain director must have a strong understanding of all aspects of the business, from manufacturing and operations to sales and marketing, to ensure that the entire organization works together to meet customer needs.
· Responsible for reviewing inventory levels to keep production supplied with all items.
· Responsible to ensure stockrooms are accurately inventoried and fully stocked. Oversee all re-orders and ERP tracking of over 4000 different types of parts used on the production floor.
· Monitor monthly inventory audits to check for accuracy on critical parts.
· Work closely with the A/P department of Nephron to manage cashflow and reconcile any discrepancies in invoices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Regionally accredited B.S. Degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Data Management, Engineering, or Life Sciences
· 8 years of inventory / purchasing experience. Specific expertise, skills and knowledge within supply chain gained through education and experience.
· The ability to motivate and influence others, take strategic objectives, set clear targets and use performance measures to assess risk and opportunities and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions.
· The ability and willingness to change direction and focus to meet shifting organizational and business demands in a fast-paced Pharmaceutical / Medical Device manufacturing setting.
· The ability to create new products and processes that add value to the Business by generating new ideas and applying creative and analytical approaches.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
