Job Overview:
As a Logistics Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, including generating leads, managing client relationships, selling our logistics services, and closing deals. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding in the freight industry. You will benefit from working in a growing company with the tools, support, and reputation to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business by promoting our logistics services through cold calls, emails, and site visits.
- Grow our customer base and consistently meet sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Work with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth service delivery.
- Keep accurate records of transactions and maintain a customer and carrier database.
- Use effective sales and negotiation techniques to close deals.
Basic Qualifications & Attributes:
- One or more years experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry needed.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentation
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Multi-language in Mandarin Chinese/English is preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows based programs including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
