What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Position- part time weekends position at Nerf Party OC?
Nerf Party OC is expanding throughout Orange County and we are now hiring Nerf Party hosts/referees in the Irvine area. If you are an enthusiastic, responsible, and independent leader who loves youth and has experience leading large groups of kids ages 6-14 with outstanding customer service skills please send us your cover letter and resume!
Qualifications:
- Live within 10 miles of Irvine
- Available on Weekends (Sat and/or Sun, preferably both)
- Must be able to transport and lift, 50-70 lb. containers*
- Have an SUV or large 4 door that can transport equipment to parties
- Can provide a cover letter highlighting experience with youth
- Excellent attitude with adults and youth
- Able to pass a background check and fingerprint scan
All Nerf hosts must transport equipment and supplies to events. You will need to transport equipment to the party location using your vehicle (an SUV or 4 door sedan is necessary) we pay mileage reimbursement. Nerf Party hosts work mostly on weekends and set their own schedule. This is a great part-time opportunity as a second job, especially on weekends. Nerf Party Host/Referees arrive at party location 45 minutes before the event, set up a mobile bunker battlefield and lead groups of various aged youth through Nerf games and battles. Interact with parents and party visitors. Create high energy, positive, fun experience, tear down the battlefield and pack up supplies. Must be able to transport and lift 3, 50-70 lb. containers.
