KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls efficiently, providing accurate information
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries
- Maintain and update electronic medical records using Zenoti or similar EMR software
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with various administrative and clerical tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably as a Medical Receptionist
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient care procedures
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Zenoti
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and maintain accurate medical records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and basic medical billing practices
