We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Review documentation for accuracy when uploading into patient's file.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Utilize Tebra (EMR) for proper documentation and record keeping.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with in-clinic providers to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Proficient in documentation review and administrative tasks.
- Experience with Tebra or similar EMR system is a plus.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be able to type efficiently for data entry purposes.
