How a Laborer Will Make An Impact
- Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks including; but not limited to; lifting and moving materials up to 100 lbs.; loading and unloading vehicles and other activities in a helping or assisting means.
- Must have experience using basic hand tools such as ratchets, drills, grinders, etc.
- Must be able to perform other tasking under direction of supervisor.
- Transports materials; tools; and equipment to and within work sites as required.
- Follows established policies and procedures for VLS work.
- Operates hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling. Participates in special projects as required.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Required Experience: 1 years of related experience
- Security Clearance Level: Must obtain Secret
- Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, Tradesmanship, and Hand Tooling
- Preferred Skills: Forklift, Shipyard and Shipboard familiarity
- Location: Chesapeake, VA
