What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Scientist position at NES Fircroft?
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis and wet chemistry on product and in-process samples, to support plant operations for the purpose of quality assurance/control.
Key responsibilities include preparing samples and ensuring accurate data generation and records, in accordance with standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will also utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues and prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents as well as set preparation standards.
A bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is strongly preferred, and the position will receive direction and support from our team.
Additionally, facility and laboratory operate 5:30AM to 6:30-7:30PM. Initially, LabTech hours are (7:00AM-3:00PM) for training only, after which the candidate will move to a later shift: 9:30AM-close(5:30 - 6:30PM) or early shift, (5:30 am – 1:30 pm).
