JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Manager plans, directs, manages, and provides oversight of assigned engineering and design projects to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within the specified timeline and budget parameters. This Project Manager provides internal and external communication with all project stakeholders and assists in the management of key initiatives and projects. The Project Manager demonstrates considerable judgement with latitude in performing duties of the job and is expected to perform efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Conducts onsite client visits to collect project information required for proposals.
- Perform schedule preparation and resource forecasting of all services and expenses related to the project.
- Setup project estimate, budget, and assign allocation of hours.
- Delegate project work to engineering and design teams.
- Regularly review project schedules and monitor progress to determine impacts to schedule and budget. Ensure each project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Monitor and effectively communicate project related issues, scope changes, and variances to internal and external customers.
- Manage multi-discipline projects including but not limited to civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering and design.
- Act as liaison between customer, contractors, and team.
- Resolve conflicts. Assume a lead role in any disputes related to project involving internal and/or external customers.
- Participate in marketing efforts to develop and sustain targeted clients in key market sectors.
- Seek active involvement in Professional Networking Clubs.
- Represent company on projects in development.
- Provide approval and submission of job proposals.
- Provide constructive feedback and training to team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a closely related field) from an accredited degree program.
- 10 years of project management experience in engineering or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, Bluebeam, and other relevant project management programs.
- Ability to travel to customer plants and construction sites.
- Capable of passing safety training for various industrial clients and comply with OSHA 10 requirements for customer sites and walk throughs.
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments and coordinate a variety of tasks and deadlines with good attention to detail.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering discipline or related field.
- 15 years project management experience in engineering or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- Project Manager Accredited Certification (PMI, PSMJ, etc.)
- Experience in the industrial sector.
- Strong working relationships with customers, contractors, fabricators, vendors, etc.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 6-8 hours per day.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders when visiting job sites.
- Ability to perform work on elevated surfaces when visiting job sites.
- Ability to work in varied environmental environments: heat, cold, wind, etc when visiting job sites.
