What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surface Field Tech position at NES Fircroft?
Inventory each P / A well prior to cleanup.
Pumping Unit Information
Picture, Size and Make of unit.
- Electrical
- Cathodic
- Meter
- Flowlines
- Mark flowline from wellsite to battery
- Survey pad.
- Identify any staining from previous spills.
- Confirm Completed Job
- Pictures of completed job.
- NORM scan of pad to ensure no NORM is present.
- Inventory each potential battery demo.
- NORM scan is performed on tanks.
- Pictures of tanks and nameplates are captured.
- Vessels
- Pictures, sizes, and nameplates will be captured.
- Misc. equipment will be inventoried and captured.
- Confirm Completed Job
- Pictures of completed job.
- Bradenhead Blowdown
- Gas and or Fluid samples are collected from each casing.
- Bradenhead Re-Gauge
- Spill Assessments (Approximately 40 per month per SFT)
- If contractor is needed SFT will assess the spill and recommend remediation vendor based on assessment.
What needs to be disconnected
Pumping unit
Identify flowline.
Identify any trash / waste left on site.
SFT will spot check jobs that are in process.
Tanks
Tanks are gauged.
NORM scans are performed on all vessels at battery.
SFT will spot check jobs that are in process.
Pressure is relieved from surface and intermediate casing.
Data is captured for each well.
Each casing must be re-gauged 3 times within 9 months of initial blowdown.
All nonreportable spills will be assessed by Surface Field Tech.
SFT will determine proper remediation process to follow.
If possible, spill will be remediated onsite by SFT.
SFT will spot check remediation vendors
