CUSTOMER APPLICATIONS SENIOR MANAGER

1. Minimum Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
Eight years of professional experience in accounting, project management, or information technology, including customer information systems is required. Three years of experience supervising the work of others is required. Three years of Oracle C2M design or developing experience is recommended.
- Employees who receive a positive drug or alcohol test result within the past 12 months prior to posting will not certify for the job.
- Employees who have less than a "good" overall job performance on their last performance appraisal will not certify for the job.
- Employees who receive a disciplinary suspension within the past 12 months of posting will not certify for the job.
- Employees who fail or did not take the most recent Safety Manual Test will not certify for any job that would be a promotion.
2. Examples of Duties and Responsibilities
a) Plan, schedule and manage the activities of the section. Provide goals that enhance
and support the section and company objectives. Ensure proper training and development,
monitor progress, and evaluate employees. Implement action to accomplish Affirmative Action
and Equal Employment Opportunity objectives.
b) Manage the Customer Applications Center of Excellence section including staffing, budgeting,
and managing day to day operations. Establish framework for best practices, governance
and standards for Oracle applications and technologies.
c) Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for leveraging Oracle applications and
technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
d) Responsible for overall Production Support budgets and contracts through collaboration with
Finance and IT areas.
e) Oversee the administration of multiple customer system applications to deliver an excellent
customer experience while aligning business operations, customer expectations,
and interfacing applications in support of organizational programs.
f) Develop and maintain a roadmap for Oracle and other customer applications and technologies to
align with organizational goals and emerging technologies.
g) Lead teams who extract knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional
data to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation,
modeling, analysis and / or visualization techniques, which may include the use of
advanced statistical analysis, algorithms, predictive modeling, experimentation,
and pattern recognition to create solutions that enable enhanced business performance.
h) Negotiate contracts, manage vendors, and provide strategic direction for system upgrades,
roadmaps, and system implementations for assigned applications.
i) Lead teams to support the organization by creating efficiencies around process and
task automation and providing advanced analytical support access to meaningful data
to drive decisions.
j) Ensure security of applications by approving access and performing user provisioning as well as
coordinating the response to applicable audits.
k) Collaborate with IT to oversee data governance program development, including the
architecture of the solution and framework and administering the program for customer
data in applications administered by the section.
l) Oversee the successful integration of rates into our billing system.
m) Serve as a liaison between Customer Services business operations teams and Information
Technology teams.
n) Provide expert guidance on Oracle applications and technologies (both Cloud and On-Prem)
and other relevant applications.
o) Monitor industry trends and innovations, recommending enhancements and new technologies.
p) Manage a team of Oracle C2M functional and technical resources, fostering a culture of
collaboration and continuous improvement.
q) Create plans around knowledge transfer programs to ensure proper training and support
are in place to support C2M system functions.
r) Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
s) Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle-related inquiries and issues within
the organization.
t) Communicate with customers, employees, and outside entities through personal contact,
telephone, radio, writing or electronic means to provide information or answer questions
related to the area of responsibility. Investigate, respond, and resolve employee or customer
problems and complaints within company guidelines and policies.
u) Engage with Oracle Product Management and Development, as well as participate in Oracle User
Communities and Conferences.
v) Perform work in a safe manner to protect employees, the public, and property. Enforce
safety rules and ensure work is performed in accordance with approved safe work practices.
Conduct investigations, retain evidence, and complete appropriate documentation.
3. Working Conditions
The working environment of this job includes physical surroundings that are nearly ideal. Work involves a combination of in office and remote work. This includes usual office working conditions. This job demands very little or very light physical effort. Must move or lift only very light items such as stapler, small hand tools, etc. Seldom required to walk or stand for long periods.
4. Additional Requirements
Note : The selection process for this position will involve behavioral interviews.
5. Special Licensing and Certification
Must have a valid Class D driver's license from state of residence in accordance with state law.
NOTE :
The current minimum annual rate is $186,700.80 and the maximum annual rate is $280,051.20.
