Seeking energetic, detail-oriented Dental Front Office professionals with a passion for providing high quality patient service. Nesbitt Oral & Facial Surgery is hiring an Oral Surgery front office teammate to join their practice in Mooresville, NC. Join a patient and team-centered environment where the number one priority is patient safety and care. Prior dental or oral surgery reception and scheduling experience required.
As an Oral Surgery Receptionist, you’ll often be the first point of contact for patients and will support them through everything from scheduling appointments and follow-ups to welcoming and efficiently checking them in, to verifying insurance coverage.
We’re seeking a well-rounded front desk with experience working with strong customer service background and dental/medical scheduling & insurance verifications experience to join our team. Experience scheduling for a Surgery office is strongly preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Promptly and warmly answer calls and emails from patients and referrals
- Efficiently schedule and confirm appointments to provide a positive patient experience while maximizing the time of the doctor
- Accurately and thoroughly complete electronic chart information
- Verify insurance and obtain billing estimates
- Welcome patients when they arrive and register them for their appointment
- Partner closely with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Ensure accurate data entry to enable prompt and accurate billing
- Complete insurance verifications
- Keeping front office area clean and tidy to present a welcoming environment at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior dental or oral surgery front office experience required
- Prior dental and/or medical billing/ insurance experience preferred
- Experience with DSN software preferred, but willing to train

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
