">The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power generation, strong technical knowledge in electrical systems design and analysis, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support multiple power generation projects, ensuring compliance with specific contract and plant requirements. ">
- Review and redline engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. ">
- Evaluate electrical system designs for simple cycle gas power plants, ensuring adherence to industry standards and plant specifications. ">
- Provide technical oversight for power generation electrical systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, relays, and protective systems. ">
- Conduct engineering analysis and troubleshooting of power systems, identifying and resolving design or performance issues. ">
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, civil, and project management personnel, to support integrated power plant projects. ">
- Ensure all designs and project deliverables meet NERC, NEC, IEEE, and applicable power generation standards. ">
- Support regulatory and contract compliance reviews related to power plant electrical infrastructure. ">
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and assist in knowledge transfer within the team. ">
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. ">
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (REQUIRED). ">
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in power generation, focusing on simple cycle gas power plants. ">
- Strong expertise in electrical system design, analysis, and compliance for power generation facilities. ">
- Hands-on experience with specifications, drawings, and calculations review & redlining. ">
- Knowledge of NERC, NEC, IEEE, and applicable industry regulations for power generation. ">
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess design and operational challenges. ">
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. ">
Work Environment & Schedule:
