Job Title: Program Manager – Aerospace & Defense Industry

Overview:
We seek a dynamic Program Manager to steer complex aerospace and defense initiatives from concept to deployment. In this role, you will oversee process improvements, guide new product integration, and align cross-functional teams. You will collaborate closely with customers, operators, and executive leadership to meet critical production targets, maintain quality standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production operations in an engineer-to-order environment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
- Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, coordinate schedules, and manage budgets
- Drive new product development by defining design requirements and integrating emerging technologies
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, aligning technical specifications and project milestones
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and optimize production flow
- Define critical mechanical inputs and leverage design of experiments (DOEs) to validate and refine processes
- Conduct defect analysis, develop corrective actions, and manage maintenance programs for operational excellence
- Train and mentor teams on process changes, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics, or related fields)
- Proven success in engineer-to-order production, ideally within aerospace or defense
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related continuous improvement strategies
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Optional exposure to PLC programming, Ladder Logic, or Robotics Language
