Compliance Manager

Summary
The primary responsibility of the Compliance Manager is to provide support to all departments ensuring compliance of Health and Safety, ISO-9001:2015 and ASME through education and training. This includes training in all fabrication equipment and positions in the company. The Compliance Manger will manage and support all QC staff including the Manager of Quality Control. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining department employees, as well as coaching and mentoring. The Compliance Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering and Design.
Responsibilities
- · Serve as the Quality Health Safety Environmental Leader and technical expert
- · Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the team members
- · Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs
- · Lead in Safety education and ensure compliance with ISN, Veriforce and OSHA requirements
- · Lead and uphold ISO requirements and serve as the lead internal auditor once training is completed
- · Maintain compliance with ASME Codes and Standards once training is completed
- · Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors
- · Evaluate controls efficiency and identify risks. Elevate issues to appropriate Director/Supervisor
- · Identify, Improve, and implement productive and efficient company policies.
- · Uphold standards of excellence and quality and Mueller’s safety program
- · Oversee Quality Control department and DOT registration
- · Create and update strategy to abide by legal rules and internal policy
- · Other duties as assigned

Required
- 3 years of ISO 9001 experience
- 3 years of ASME codes and standards experience
- 3 years of Inventor or other 3D design/drafting and manufacturing software
- Excellent Math, Algebra, Geometry skills and manufacturing calculations
- Familiar with OSHA standards
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration
