What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at NESC Staffing?
Role Definition : Plan and organize routes within assigned territories to maximize efficiencies and time in field. Meeting with transit garage foreman and taking their orders for hardware and fasteners. Unloading boxes and placing order in appropriate bins once orders arrive. The job typically occurs during regular transit garage business hours. Must be a persistent, dependable, organized, and self-motivated with exceptional verbal and written communications skills. Must be comfortable working independently outside the office. Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud based infrastructure systems.Competencies include, but not limited to :
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts.
- Strong intrapersonal skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
- Positive and enthusiastic.Education : Bachelor's degree or higher;business and marketing majors preferred. Some experience in a sales representative role;within transit industry preferred.
