Key Areas of Responsibility
The Mechanical Design Engineer will have responsibility for the following areas:
- Design and development of pressure sensors and transducers.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance with industrial standards.
- Technical direction for assigned projects from initial concept phase to product delivery.
- Cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing and quality engineers, customers, and suppliers.
- Structural static and dynamic analyses, thermal and fluid dynamics analyses, and other engineering analysis methods to verify compliance.
- Management and release of drawings, models, and documentation through ***'s product lifecycle management system.
- Development of plans for design verification and validation testing for design compliance.
- Implementation of product improvement and cost reduction initiatives by evaluating engineering change requests.
- Support of sales and marketing in generation of proposals and responses to customer inquiries.
