Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining current manufacturing equipment and assisting in developing and implementing changes in pursuit of continuous improvement goals. Understanding of company mechanical integrity needs and maintain Predictive Maintenance system.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies and implements improvement ideas.
• Assists supervisors and team leaders in day-to-day problem solving.
• Diagnose equipment problems and effectively repair the problems as well as considering future countermeasures and corrective actions.
• Participate in "lean" manufacturing activities, improvement blitzes, and process studies.
• Writes, updates, and maintains process, equipment, and work standards.
• Maintain a PM system.
• Assists manufacturing personnel in activities needed to meet and exceed Champion safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets and goals.
• Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
• Installs or replaces machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments.
• Cleans or lubricates vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects.
• Applies protective materials to equipment, components, and parts to prevent defects and corrosion.
