What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator Specialist position at Nesco Resource?
At Nesco Resource, we are seeking a skilled Fabricator Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to cut materials to size and shape, and weld metal using hand tools and equipment such as band saws, material brakes, and material shears.
The Fabricator Specialist will provide welding support for our garage shop services teams and work closely with team members on project work and customer interactions.
The essential duties of this role include:
- welding instrumentation, exhaust tubes, and bosses
- preparing metal surfaces by cleaning with sanding disk and wire brushes
- operating manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess basic knowledge and ability to Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) or Metal Inert Gas (MIG) weld, and have good communication skills and attention to detail.
