Reports to Field Service Manager
Provide customers in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical Oral Solid Dosage manufacturing industry with prompt, efficient, and exemplary customer service via new machines installations, troubleshooting existing equipment, process reviews, and / or training either from the office or on-site at the customers' facilities.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Provide service, repair, and maintenance of tablet presses, capsule fillers, computers, and all peripheral equipment.
- Perform installations (including production start-up and validation), preventative maintenance reviews and calibrations of tablet presses, capsule fillers, and / or peripheral equipment.
- Perform all electrical and / or mechanical work including partial or complete overhauls of tablet presses and capsule fillers.
- Conduct training at customers site on various topics after completion of internal training program
- Provide customer support through telephone troubleshooting on tablet presses and encapsulation fillers.
- Basic Computer programming after successful completion of inhouse training program.
- Maintain daily records of service / troubleshooting calls with customers in the Company's CRM system.
- Promote OEM replacement parts and upgrade sales whenever possible.
