What You’ll Do
- Install and maintain cutting-edge technology, including cameras, sensors, circuit boards, media converters, solar systems, and controller cabinets.
- Work with electrical, data, and fiber optic cables to keep systems running efficiently.
- Set up essential infrastructure, including pull boxes, conduit, poles, and foundations.
- Use tools like voltmeters and underground utility locators to test and troubleshoot equipment.
- Keep accurate logs of field conditions and installations to ensure smooth operations.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in electrical work, field service, or a related industry.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights up to 60 feet using a bucket truck.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and follow strict safety protocols.
- A clear and valid driver’s license and availability for on-call emergency situations.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office to document work and track progress.
- Problem-solving abilities, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team.
- Language Skills: Ability to read safety manuals, follow technical instructions, write reports, and speak effectively in team settings.
- Math Skills: Comfortable working with rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting graphs.
- Reasoning Skills: Apply common sense and follow detailed instructions to solve technical challenges.
- This role is physically demanding—you’ll be using tools, climbing, kneeling, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- Expect to work in outdoor environments with exposure to traffic hazards, electrical risks, high elevations, and loud noise levels.
- A major part of this role involves driving, so a clean driving record is essential.
