What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Nesco Resource?
Core hours of 9am to 4pm (AZ time) hybrid (if in Tucson) or full remote (if outside of Tucson)
Corporate Financial Analyst with focus on Planning & Reporting Systems support, Forecast and Plan Process support, and financial analysis with emphasis on standard business results and trends. Interaction required with Commercial Geographies and the Corporate Finance Accounting area, as well as Corporate Business Units including Strategic Marketing, Research and Development, Quality, Manufacturing and G&A functions.
Supports development and maintenance of the corporate Planning & Reporting Systems. Works on financial analyses requiring in-depth evaluation of all factors, both internal and external. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining analytical results. Present findings clearly and accurately as a part of the Corporate Planning and Analysis function. Cognos Finance Support : -Assist in routine system management including system structure improvements and maintenance. -Responsible for distribution of the monthly Management Report. -Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining corporate-wide system reports. -Responsible for supporting business units in report development, ad hoc reporting and troubleshooting. Monthly Forecast Process : -Assist Manager in the development of routine financial forecasts. -Develops templates for use in Division forecast submissions. Responsible for ensuring input of detailed Corporate Cost Center forecasts into the system. -Responsible for working with Commercial / Division analysts to enable optimum forecast submissions. -Identifies Risks and Opportunities to plans and forecasts. Annual Plan Process : -Assist Manager in the development of Annual Operating Plan. -Assists in development of templates for use in all Division Plan submissions. -Responsible for ensuring input of detailed Corporate Cost Center Plans into the system. -Responsible for assisting in development of annual plan reports and maintenance. -Assist in publishing of the final Plan Book. -Responsible for working with Division analysts to ensure accurate and timely submission of Plan data.
Business Analysis : -Provide finance support for key Corporate Business Units including R&D, Strategic Marketing, Quality and G&A. -Performs monthly results analysis; identifies variance from plan and develops actions required to meet Plan as required. Other business analysis as required. -Monthly Reporting : -Responsible for all file extracts, processing, and input of actuals to the reporting systems. -Works directly with Corporate and Commercial / Division Accounting groups to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reported data. -Assist in troubleshooting all system issues and reconciling variances.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
One to three years of related experience preferred.
Experience with Oracle, Cognos, or other equivalent software a plus.
Experience in Manufacturing accounting and multi-currency reporting a plus.
