What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator Production-2nd shift position at Nesco Resource?
Machine Operator standing at the end of the conveyor, bending and stacking parts, placing them in cartons, taping cartons, and placing them onto finished good pallets.
- Load Steel or Aluminum coils via Forklift onto decoiler
- Feed steel coil material into the dye
- Turn the machine to run position, and set it to the correct digital settings
- Stack finished goods into stacks of 50, checking parts to ensure quality
- Place finished stacks into carton
- Manually tape carton
- Stack completed boxes weighing 6-80 lbs onto a pallet
- Lift pallet via Forklift and place into the appropriate location
- Clearing jams as necessary
- Labeling boxes
- Sweeping & Cleaning of immediate area
- Dumping scrap
- Completing various set ups of machinery. Including lifting 80-100 lbs steel die (s)
- Must have 2 years of manufacturing and forklift experience. $14.75 per hour starting pay. Strict attendance policy. The schedule is M-F/3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Salary : $15 - $16
