Job title : Maintenance Technician
Location : Berlin Heights
Shift : 1st
Salary : $22 to $26 an hour based on experience
Job duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plant equipment
- Preserve and maintain all physical structures grounds, including all electrical, piping and utility networks.
- Diagnose problems or potential issues, replace and repair parts, follow up with production to assure problem is resolved.
- Work with Operations Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to determine daily and weekly requirements, projects, and timing.
- Make scheduled and unscheduled repairs on all machines and related equipment used in manufacturing.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment and ensure all preventative / predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and tools is properly documented and submitted
- Perform routine inventory of spare parts, supplies, and tools and submit requisitions for parts
- Work with outside maintenance contractors to assist in task completion and to assure safe and effective behavior of contractors and their employees.
- Setup and operate lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders to fabricate and / or repair machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and other tools
- Follow all safety policies and procedures as established by the company when performing any tasks, including LOTO. Maintain work areas in clean and orderly condition.
