What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler / Delivery Assistant position at Nesco Resource?
Nesco Resource is searching for a Material Handler / Delivery Assistant to join the team with one of our long-term clients in the Auburn Hills area. The shift runs from 6 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday. The pay rate is $21.00 / hr.
Responsibilities :
- Receives, stores, and distributes material, supplies, equipment and products within a warehouse
- Drives / operates material handling equipment
- Loads and unloads trucks, verify load lists, and moves materials and items to storage, production, service, office or other designated areas
- Sorts and places warehouse materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence
- Assembles customer orders from the stock and places orders on pallets or shelves
- Performs cycle counts to verify accuracy of inventory information; maintains inventory records
- Uses computer to verify order information
- Loads and unloads delivery truck on assigned route
- Ensures product is delivered to customer within company quality standards
- Obtains customer signature as a verification of delivery or pick-up
