- Warren, OH
- $50 - $65000 annual salary based on experience
- 12 hour rotating shift from 745pm-8am
- Direct Hire opportunity
- Supervise a manufacturing department of 40 – 45 staff members.
- Set employee goals and objectives.
- Develop staff to maximize potential.
- Manage employees and team performance.
- Determine staffing requirements.
- Ensure employees receive needed training to succeed in their role.
- Coach and motive employees.
- Allocate use of available resources.
- Evaluate employee performance.
- Discipline and implement corrective actions as needed with employees.
- Maintain a balanced inventory.
- Ensure quality of finished goods is upheld.
- Evaluate current business processes and systems.
- Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
- 2 or more years' experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and people skills to lead a team.
- Ability to work a 12 hour schedule including every other weekend.
- Experience with MS Office and time keeping systems.
- Previous experience working in plastics manufacturing a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
