Job Summary
The Production Team Member is a key member of our manufacturing team, responsible for setting up and operating equipment, monitoring production, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of our plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and operate equipment, adhering to operating and safety procedures and ISO standards.
- Measure and weigh ingredients to meet recipe specifications and deliver them to the work area correctly.
- Monitor production and equipment to detect and resolve any issues promptly.
- Operate machinery to process materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify that produced materials meet quality standards through visual inspections.
- Collect material samples for laboratory analysis and adjust production processes based on test results.
- Inform the Production Lead, Supervisor, or Shift Lead about any concerns or defects detected during production.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and comply with departmental housekeeping guidelines.
Essential Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 12 months of relevant experience in a similar field (plastics industry, manufacturing, etc.).
- Developed manual dexterity, analytical thinking, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
