Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Direct and manage multiple AST, SV, and M&R projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Financial & Business Management: Oversee budgeting, revenue projections, and financial performance while supporting collections and cost controls.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate staffing, mentor Project Managers, and collaborate with HR and Operations to build high-performing teams.
- Client & Business Development: Act as the primary liaison for key clients, lead technical discussions, and support sales initiatives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop standard operating procedures to align with company goals and improve operational efficiency.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure safety, technical standards, and risk assessments are met on all projects.
- Market Expansion: Collaborate with Business Development to identify and secure new project opportunities.
What You Bring To The Table
- Industry Experience: 12 years in operations or project management, including 8 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ASTs, specialty vessels, and maintenance/repair operations.
- Business Acumen: Strong background in project finance, forecasting, and contract management.
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred (Business backgrounds considered).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Concur, Adobe Pro, and related tools.
- Certifications: API 653 preferred (or willingness to obtain post-hire).
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel (:10%), primarily within Texas.
