Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and report on products in hold areas, participating in related meetings to ensure compliance.
- Participate in Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Incoming Inspection Processes to identify potential quality issues.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers to handle Material Action Reports (MAR's), providing assistance as needed.
- Support Quality Engineers with internal and external sorting activities, contributing to efficient quality control processes.
- Investigate internal and external quality issues, conducting root cause analysis to inform improvement strategies.
- Support ongoing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, driving positive change within the organization.
- Conduct internal Layered Process Audits (LPA) and ISO audits as assigned, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Train new Quality Assurance Technicians (QATs), providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
- Review QAT inspection instructions, offering constructive feedback to improve quality control processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Quality Assurance or equivalent role.
- Experience with drawings, technical gauging, and both statistical and non-statistical tools.
- Ability to assess product defects against aesthetic standards and determine acceptability.
- Proficient computer skills, including beginner-level Excel.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management at all levels.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
