Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Bethel, CT
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7AM-3PM
Compensation: $17-$20/Hour (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Job Overview:
This role involves inspecting parts and assemblies using precision measuring instruments and gauges as primary tools.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and analyze data based on work instructions, Inspection Test Masters, and specifications.
- Conduct developmental, first run production parts, in-process, and final inspections.
- Carry out visual inspections under a microscope.
- Prepare rejection tags and document deviations from specifications on dimensions, finishes, material, processes, or quality.
- Stamp or approve acceptable parts and complete required paperwork.
- Enter and analyze data.
- Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and specifications.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel.
- (Microscope experience is not required for this role.)
