We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in Oberlin, OH. This full-time, first-shift position (8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday) offers a competitive salary of $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience. Job Summary :
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that products meet quality standards, including reliability, usability, and performance, in accordance with ISO standards and customer specifications. This involves inspecting and testing products during production to ensure adherence to specifications.
Essential Functions :
- Read and interpret production instructions, engineering designs, and documentation.
- Use Precision Measuring Instruments (PMI) like calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
- Lead calibration and measurement device training, non-conformance evaluation, and inspections.
- Ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for inspections, rework, and waste.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
- Support PPAPs, First Article Inspections, and work instruction creation.
- Assist with internal and supplier audits.
