SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER:

$90,000-$110,000/yearly salary
Nesco is recruiting for one of our clients that is an Automated Machine Designer and Builder. They design machines for the Automotive, Refrigeration, Packaging and Fuel Cell Industries that are installed worldwide. They are celebrating 25 years in business this year. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the project from Proposal through Design, Fabrication, Validation and possible Installation. You will be working with Sales, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering and the Customer to arrive at a successful conclusion.
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Mechanical Design Engineer with minimum of 10 years experience in the design of special manufacturing machines.
* SolidWorks experience required. SolidWdge and ACAD helpful.
* Previous design experience in one of the industries listed above is a plus.
* Work with customer to identify and support customer's requirements.
* Create organized documentation including purchase requisitions, drawings, cut sheets, test reports, operations manuals and maintenance manuals.
* Manage projects to support on time deliveries within budget.
* Knowledge in mechanical power transmission, fluid power, automation, fabrication, mechanical componets and design for manufacturing is required.
* The job is "hands-on" and requires self-discipline and management experience as you will be the Project Manager.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's Degree in a Mechanical Discipline
