We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to oversee and manage surveying projects for a wide range of applications, including land development, construction, and boundary determination. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of survey data while leading field crews and collaborating with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, construction staking, and ALTA / NSPS surveys.
- Conduct fieldwork using advanced surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and robotic instruments.
- Analyze and interpret survey data to prepare detailed maps, plats, and reports.
- Research legal documents, historical records, and property titles to validate survey findings and resolve boundary discrepancies.
- Prepare and sign legal descriptions, plats, and other documents in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to field and office teams, ensuring projects meet deadlines and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, developers, and contractors to support project goals.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of surveying equipment.
- Stay current with advancements in surveying technology, practices, and regulations.
