What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Prep position at Neshaminy FSU?
The Food Prep team member at Chick-Fil-A will prepare cold food items and items that have hot food added to them after prep
Job Functions
- Prepare all food as instructed in an efficient manner and memorize the items to be prepared
- Operate all kitchen equipment that Food Prep member has been trained to operate
- Clean all kitchen equipment that the Food Prep member has been trained to operate
- Adhere to safety procedures regarding use of knives and other sharp tools
- Know and demonstrate FIFO (first in –first out).
- Interact professionally with other team members in front and back of store
Minimum requirements
- 18 years
- Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Able to stand to perform job functions for the entire shift
- Ability to communicate effectively
Additional Requirements
- Ability to multi-task
- Learn Quick and work under a variety of conditions including fast paced
- Follow all hygiene and safety rules including food safety and personal safety
- Confidence to ask questions and take direction
- Available to be cross trained on front store positions
- Available to do other tasks when requested by other management team members
- Positive friendly attitude
Part time applicants must be specific regarding additional days and times they are willing to work and the total number of hours they desire to work. Chick-Fil-A tries to accommodate all scheduling requests on a regular basis.
