The Occupational Wellness Specialist (OWS) works as a member of the Public Relations and Marketing team on a Part-Time basis. His/her primary responsibility is to function as Neshoba General’s customer service wellness coordinator for our Occupational Wellness Program. In this role, OWS will serve as a key resource to our clients participating in this program and will be the liaison between our clients and medical providers and/or insurance carriers. He/she is expected to oversee our clients in a professional and confidential manner on behalf of the medical center, consistent with the mission and goals of the hospital.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree in Healthcare or Business preferred. (Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Exceptional interpersonal, and phone etiquette.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with people of all levels.
Speaks clearly in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification.
Excellent planning, organizational, and ability to manage multiple tasks paying close attention to detail.
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to self-motivate and help with marketing and/or fund-raising strategies consistent with the medical
center’s goals.
Must be able to work outside of normal business hours if needed on special projects.
