The Production Assistant Intern will provide support to studio show producers and directors as needed for all programming associated with SportsNet Pittsburgh. Duties include, but are not limited to, editing video packages, writing copy, researching, and archiving stories and video content.
This is a 20-24 hour per week internship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Digital Video editing (highlights, soundbites, packages) using Adobe Premiere.
- Write / edit feature packages as directed. Assist producers and APs in securing and organizing production materials for events and studio shows, including rundown copying and distribution.
- Operate studio cameras and serve as a Stage Manager during studio shows.
- Logging melts and soundbites for production.
- Serve as a digital archiver for SNP tape library.
- Successfully complete other broadcast related tasks / assignments as needed.
