The Role - What A Day In The Life Looks Like:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for providing accounting functions to Nesnah Ventures and its subsidiary of businesses. Some tasks include:
Daily/Weekly Accounting
- AP - daily & weekly
- Post daily banking transactions
- Daily EFT drafts & bank uploads
Maintain Accounting Records
- Perform vendor/supplier/carrier account reconciliations
- Conduct check printing
- Monitor ACH payments
Month-End & Year-End Closings
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Review and prepare 1099 tax documents
Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table:
- Driven Achiever - You achieve results through your strong work ethic and daily determination
- Accuracy - You have strong attention to detail and are self-driven to see tasks through to finish
- Education - Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience - Minimum of 2 years related accounting experience
- Technology User - Microsoft Office (Microsoft Great Plains is a plus!) and Excel data entry
