Data Analyst - US

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with experience in the investment lifecycle, preferably in asset allocation and portfolio attribution reporting. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying and resolving upstream data issues within client systems to ensure seamless alignment with the data model and reporting structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive inventory of upstream data issues across systems.
• Perform root cause analysis to determine why issues occur, collaborating with stakeholders across business and tech teams.
• Work closely with technology teams to design and implement data fixes
• Assist in structuring reports and analytics to align with existing data model.
• Map business processes and their relationship to data structures.
• Understand how data flows across systems and how it impacts reporting and analytics.
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to track issue resolution.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in investment lifecycle data analysis, preferably with exposure to asset allocation and portfolio attribution reporting.
• Experience working with financial services, asset management, or private equity firms is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data structures, reporting frameworks, and financial data models.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Familiarity with data integration, mapping, and governance concepts.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technology, data, and business teams.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives with a structured approach.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data migration or integration projects within financial institutions.
• Exposure to ETL tools, cloud-based data platforms, and investment analytics systems.
